Dr. Regine is a leader in the field of radiation oncology and a recognized expert in the areas of GI and CNS malignancies. He has served as a principal investigator for multiple NCI-sponsored clinical trials. His research has defined new standards of care for patients. He is co-inventor of the “GammaPod,” the first treatment system dedicated to the stereotactic radiation of early stage breast cancer and is co-editor of “Principles and Practices of Stereotactic Radiosurgery,” the first comprehensive textbook of its kind.

Senior Administrator of the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Department of Radiation Oncology

Frank has been with the UM SOM Department of Radiation Oncology since 1997, when he joined as a senior therapist. He soon advanced to chief therapist and later became the director of operations, responsible for overseeing the technical operations of the downtown and community treatment centers, including nursing, dosimetry, and therapy. In April 2008, Young became the department’s senior administrator.

Todd Lazenby is the founder of Victory Partners, bringing over 25 years of private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance experience to the firm, having held increasing senior level positions in start-ups, mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies. He has built an investment and advisory firm catering to wealthy families and family offices that has made control investments in companies comprising over $300 million in enterprise value and has arranged and overseen in excess of $3.0 billion in capital markets and mergers & acquisitions transactions.
Prior to founding Victory Partners, Todd was the Managing Partner of Summit Capital Partners, LLC in Los Angeles, then the managing partner of WP Capital Partners, L.P. in Dallas, both merchant banking firms representing middle market companies on a national basis. Previously, Todd was a founding principal of Affinity Finance, LLC in San Francisco, where he was instrumental in developing a joint venture with a leading California bank and developing the company’s asset securitization platform. 
He holds an MS from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MBA and a BS in Communications from Florida State University, and a BSBA from Barry University.

Mr. Bishop has experience in providing management services for three closely held oilfield service companies. He has also focused on growth opportunities for healthcare companies. From 1997 to 2011 Mr. Bishop was an investment banker and rose to the level of Director of Corporate Finance with Southwest Securities, where he focused on the consumer and energy sectors. Mr. Bishop received his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.  Mr. Bishop is also a veteran and served six years with the United States Army and Michigan National Guard.

Mr. DiMattia brings over 30 years of business executive experience in the roles of CEO, COO and CFO. After starting his career with Deloitte and successfully filling the roles of CFO for two manufacturing firms, Dean acquired a telecom test product company in 1995 via a leveraged buyout and went on to successfully restructure the company for success and growth. Responsibilities included growing and expanding an international distribution channel, structuring a joint venture with a major Pacific Rim test product supplier, expanding revenue through strategic OEM deals with some of the largest test companies in addition for oversight of accounting, MRP, sales and marketing.
He holds an MBA from Loyola University Sellinger School of Business and a BS in Accounting from Towson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) licensed in Maryland, a Certified Valuation Analyst (C.V.A.) and a Certified Exit Planner (CEP).

Ms. Hutchinson has over 15 years’ experience managing large scale global operations, leading corporate strategy teams and consulting within the financial services industry, and focuses on providing consulting services within the healthcare industry to proton therapy centers in various stages of development.
Ms. Hutchinson has experience as Chief Operating Officer of a healthcare development company.  In her role as COO, Ms. Hutchinson was responsible for oversight of the broader organization and was an integral player in senior financing negotiations and due diligence, clinical partner agreement negotiations, development of staffing plans and hiring schedules, reimbursement strategy and negotiation, and review of general business contracts for several proton centers.
Ms. Hutchinson holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in Finance and Strategy and a B.A. in International Studies from Emory University.
Research Manager at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center

A two time graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Mr. Brown’s involvement in medical research began as an undergraduate, and continued while pursuing his Master’s degree. He has over ten years of research experience, and has worked at several top academic research centers in the country.  In 2013, he obtained his certification as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
Nurse Manager at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center

Ms. Carnaggio began her nursing career at the Johns Hopkins Hospital where she served as a charge nurse on an inpatient oncology unit for six years. She has a Masters in Healthcare Administration/Nursing Leadership from Stevenson University and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Salisbury University. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and Sigma Theta Tau International. In 2017, she was selected as a top nurse in the area in Baltimore Magazine.

At the Maryland Proton Treatment Center, Ms. Carnaggio is responsible for ensuring quality patient care through the direct supervision of all nursing personnel.  She coordinates and maintains staffing adequacy and patient throughput.  She is passionate about educating staff to grow their knowledge to provide optimal care to our patients and their families.

Mr. Gregory serves as a key advisor on all faculty-related activities and business matters related to the Maryland Proton Treatment Center. He works closely with UM leadership and MPTC leadership to coordinate and manage the administrative activities of MPTC. He collaborates with multiple members of the University of Maryland Department of Radiation Oncology to ensure that the missions of patient care, education, research and community outreach continue to be achieved at MPTC.  
Mr. Gregory started his career as a Radiation Therapist and Dosimetrist at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis and went on to become the Departmental Supervisor at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. While still at St. Jude, Keith earned his Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management at Southern Illinois University and was promoted to Administrative Director overseeing the Department of Radiation Oncology. Since then, he completed his MBA at the University of Memphis and has held several administrative roles in both hospital and private practice settings including Director of Radiation Oncology at the University of Tennessee Cancer Institute, Chief Operating Officer at the New Mexico Cancer Center and most recently, Executive Director of the Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute.

Ms. Hoch focuses on marketing and communications as well as strategic and business development. She establishes brand identity and marketing infrastructure, manages budgets and executes marketing campaigns. She also supports philanthropic initiatives and assists with educational programs.
Before joining the Maryland Proton Treatment Center, Ms. Hoch was a Marketing Manager for the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC). In this role, she was responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy and a variety of branding initiatives. Prior to coming to UMMC, she worked at Maxim Healthcare Services where she led a diverse array of marketing and business development activities for 19 health-related divisions.

Dr. Langen received her PhD from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Langen trained as a post-doctoral fellow at the National Accelerator Centre in Faure, South Africa. In 2003, Dr. Langen completed her residency training at the University of California. Dr. Langen came to the University of Maryland from MD Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando, Florida, where she was a Senior Medical Physicist. Dr. Langen leads the physics effort at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center.

Ms. LePage graduated with a BS in Radiologic Science with a concentration in Radiation Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been with the University of Maryland Department of Radiation Oncology for more than 14 years. Before coming to the Maryland Proton Treatment Center, Jaime held the position of Assistant Chief Therapist at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Ms. Ljunggren joined the Maryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC) from Cooper University Hospital where she was Clinical Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology and Director for the School of Radiation Therapy. She also has experience working as a Medical Radiographer, Radiation Therapist and CAT Scan Technologist.
