Todd Lazenby is the founder of Victory Partners, bringing over 25 years of private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance experience to the firm, having held increasing senior level positions in start-ups, mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies. He has built an investment and advisory firm catering to wealthy families and family offices that has made control investments in companies comprising over $300 million in enterprise value and has arranged and overseen in excess of $3.0 billion in capital markets and mergers & acquisitions transactions.
Prior to founding Victory Partners, Todd was the Managing Partner of Summit Capital Partners, LLC in Los Angeles, then the managing partner of WP Capital Partners, L.P. in Dallas, both merchant banking firms representing middle market companies on a national basis. Previously, Todd was a founding principal of Affinity Finance, LLC in San Francisco, where he was instrumental in developing a joint venture with a leading California bank and developing the company’s asset securitization platform. 
He holds an MS from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MBA and a BS in Communications from Florida State University, and a BSBA from Barry University.

Jason Pappas has been a CEO, president and COO in various organizations that have experienced significant growth in various industries, including health care, ranging from $1MM to $500MM of revenue, consistently growing both top and bottom line results. Previously Pappas was managing partner of Antson Capital Partners and is an operating partner with Early Light Capital. 
 
Pappas graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science. He also graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law with a Juris Doctorate specializing in finance and taxation.

Mr. Safavi has a proven track record in transforming technology and manufacturing companies into profitable growth organizations culminating in successful liquidity events. As a C-Level executive he has substantially increased the enterprise value through expanding sales, financing and executing acquisitions and divestitures, implementing disciplined cost management, and building sustainable cross functional teams in highly competitive industries.

Mr. Safavi received his baccalaureate from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and has an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.  Mr. Safavi was a CPA and a CMA.

Jill joined the Maryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC) after serving as the Director of Program Development for the University of Maryland Department of Radiation Oncology for over a decade. She has a demonstrated a successful history working in healthcare for over 15 years.  Jill has experience in program development, marketing, business development, philanthropy, project management, strategic development, event management, budgeting, public speaking, resource planning and outreach. 

In her new role as Chief Growth Officer (CGO) Jill is responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth while ensuring that patients remain priority.  She will lead relationship and business development, including efforts with patients, providers, staff, affiliate partners, donors, lenders, and investors in the Maryland Proton Treatment Center.  Jill will be instrumental in building and refining MPTC’s brand, communications, and digital/social engagement capabilities.  She will serve as the public spokesperson for the organization.  Cancer is very close to Jill’s heart as she is a cancer survivor and will use her personal experiences to improve patient centered programs.

Ms. Hutchinson has over 15 years’ experience managing large scale global operations, leading corporate strategy teams and consulting within the financial services industry, and focuses on providing consulting services within the healthcare industry to proton therapy centers in various stages of development.
Ms. Hutchinson has experience as Chief Operating Officer of a healthcare development company.  In her role as COO, Ms. Hutchinson was responsible for oversight of the broader organization and was an integral player in senior financing negotiations and due diligence, clinical partner agreement negotiations, development of staffing plans and hiring schedules, reimbursement strategy and negotiation, and review of general business contracts for several proton centers.
Ms. Hutchinson holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in Finance and Strategy and a B.A. in International Studies from Emory University.
